Lilacs Quilt Study 3 is part of the Lilacs Series. The pattern used in this painting and in other pieces in the series is an original pattern. Like lilacs, the pattern is dense and airy, organic yet geometric and it blooms across the quilt in an elongated way.
A one of a kind painting created with an ink made from oak gall and iron on Arches bright white watercolor paper.
Size 22" x 30" deckled edges, unframed.

Display quilts out of direct sunlight. Like with any textile or artwork, exposure to sunlight can cause fading.
Remove light dust by vacuuming the quilt with a stocking over the hose.
Professional cleaning is recommended for a deeper clean. Do not machine wash.

Artworks should not be displayed in direct sunlight and framing with UV resistant plexiglass is recommended to maintain the color.
